Inam Hasan is a Pakistani screenwriter. He has written four drama serials and one feature film for eminent Pakistani production companies and TV networks. He was born on July 24, 1982. He hails from Karachi. He has formal schooling in theatre arts, mass communication, international relations, and philosophy from prestigious Pakistani universities. In 2015, he graduated with an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Karachi. He also earned a two-year diploma in theatre arts from NAPA and passed the TV Writing: Core Elements course offered by Sundance Collab. From 2003 through 2010, he was a journalist for German and Pakistani media. He first obtained a writing contract with Karachi's top production company, M.D. Productions.

He received a nomination for Best Writer at the 2019 Hum Awards, for his horror mystery serial "Belapur Ki Dayan."

For Pakistani schoolchildren in 2020, he created a comic book about COVID-19 awareness. In 2016, he co-wrote the script for the feature film "Actor in Law," adding new lines. Between 2010 and 2013 he also produced two documentary TV series for Pakistani TV networks (Titliyaan and Junglee). In 2014, he worked as an associate director on Mah-e-Mir, a feature film that was nominated for an Oscar. In addition, Hasan worked as a journalist for The News, Geo News, and Deutsche Welle between 2003 and 2009.
