Savaal Singapore is a Tamil TV show. It has six seasons. The first season premiered in 2012. It is a Tamil show but was shot in Singapore. The first season had six episodes. The show aired on the Vasantham channel. The participants of the show are the Tamilians who lived in Singapore. The show is the Tamil adaptation of the original English show- We Are Singaporeans. The show comes under the genres of reality TV and game show. Late actor and VJ Ananda Kannan was the host of the show.
The show was a quiz-based game show. Similarly, like the original show, the participants were pre-selected. Each episode featured three participants. The host asked the participants common questions based on their general knowledge. The questions were related to the history, culture, food, celebrities, and people of Singapore. The candidate who would answer most of the questions was announced as the winner. Each episode invited six celebrities to be a part of the show. The show was not just about the quiz contest but the hilarious interaction between the participants and the celebrities.Â
