Manthiram Oru Thanthiram is a Tamil TV show that airs on the channel Jaya TV every Sunday from 10:30 am to 11 am. The show is hosted by magician Dhaya. Manthiram Oru Thanthiram is a magic show conducted by the famous magician Dhaya for the public. He walks up to people in public places such as parks, temples, recreational parks, snow world, theatres, etc., and performs acts that leave the audience stunned. He performs using props such as rubber band, playing cards, tissues, coins, bottle caps, toys, sponges, photographs, plastic balls, cups, jewellery, specs, ropes, balloons, bottles, papers, tape, pens, lighter, thread and needle, knives, and many more.
The acts may be duplication, vanishing, untying, or illusions. Per one episode, two to three groups of the audience are featured. After performing in front of each group, a few members of the group are asked for their experience and opinion on the act. In between two groups, the life stories of famous magicians from all over the world are featured. Their pictures, statues, or video clips related to them are shown, which someone gives a voiceover.
