Namma Veetu Ponnu is a Tamil serial telecast on Star Vijay, premiering on 16th August 2021. The story revolves around characters Karthik and Meenakshi. Karthik is a responsible guy who is born and brought up in a joint- family. He values family and emotions to the core. On the other hand, Meenakshi is portrayed to be a quite contrasting character. Being brought up as a single child she believes in free will and is quite stubborn, short-tempered, and adamant in nature.
When both the characters meet at the family function, a fight ensues between the two of them, which makes the family members admire their bond. Seeing their banter, the families become quite sure of their combination and begin to make plans for their marriage. Following this major event, what happens in their lives after they become a wedded couple is what comprises the entirety of the show. A family drama filled with loads of banter, emotions, and comedy makes this show a special one in the bucket.
