Shweta Hegde is an Indian television actress who works mainly in the Tamil film industry. She is known for “Maaya TV Series,” a thriller drama that was telecasted on Sun TV on October 28, 2018, directed by Nandas, written by Sundar C and Kalasekaran Narasimman, and produced by Sundar C and Khusboo (Avni Telemedia). Ajay (Raja Vikraman), Shweta Hegde, Ayesha (Rani Lakshmi Prabhavathi), Akansha Gandhi (Rani Simharathna), and Nakshatra Srinivas played the leading roles and Sadiq, Vincent Asokam, Singamuthu, Kulappulli Leela, Shyam, Mohan Sharma, and Manobala played the supporting roles. C. Sathya, G Clement, and Pa. Vijay composed the music.

Akansha Gandhi is a well-known TV actress from the Bollywood Film Industry. She debuted in the crime drama RX Suri, released in 2015 with the star Duniya Vijay in Kannada. Divya Krishnan is an actress and a news anchor. She was born on 17th February 1991 in Chennai, India. She completed her high school degree from St. Joseph High School, Chennai. She made her debut with the movie Padayappa, directed by KS Ravikumar, and produced by Arunachala Cine Creations. Malayalam film actress Sarayu is also known as “Ammu”. She was born on July 10, 1990 in Kerala. She started her career with a minor role in a Malayalam movie in 2006. She got her second movie “Veruthe Oru Bharya” two years after the start of her career but again with a minor role. She got a chance to show her acting skill in 2009 in “Kappal Muthalaali”. Kulappulli Leela or C. Chinju mol, as she is popularly known after one of her characters, is an actress known for her humour roles in Cinema and Tele serials. She was born in Kozhikode, Kerala. She began her career as a child artist in plays. As she grew, she acted in many amateur dramas and associated herself with theatre groups. She gradually entered cinema and is seen in the popular movie Pattanapravesham in 1988, directed by Satyan Anthikad. The scene in which she tries to attract actor Sreenivasan is very popular. She does all this in her unique style, which attracts the audience.  Her real life is very tragic. She had lost her first husband due to illness, and both her children died at young ages. Kulappulli Leela is now married to Bhuvanachandran and lives with her mother at Piravom.

Comedy is the forte of Manobala (Manobala Mahadevan), who is also a director. He was born on 4th June 1953 and acts in supporting roles too. His primary region of interest is Tamil. He has over 40 movies and 16 television serials to his credit. Having worked in 3 telefilms too, he has over 200 movies to his credit. He has worked under director Bharathiraja. 

Hailing from Sulur, Manobala forayed into the Tamil industry with the 1994 flick Thaaimaaman. Doing trivial roles initially, he switched to comedy later. He was appreciated for his comedy, and his skinny appearance added to the laughter of the audience. His rapport with Kamal Haasan, though commendable in the initial stages, was not good after some problems with the Directors Union. But later Manobala confessed that, he doesn’t hold any grudges with Kamal Haasan. The Sun TV program Asathapovathu Yaaru has Manobala’s presence frequently. He had a brief stint with production through the film Sathuranga Vettai. 

Oor Kavalan, Aagaya Gangai, Sirai Paravai, Moodu Manthiram, Pillai Nila, Moondrezhuthil En Moochirukkum, Karuppu Vellai and Nandini are a few flicks of his direction. As an actor his works are Natpukkaga, Taj Mahal, Annai, Minsara Kanna, Perazhagan, Priyasakhi, Samudhiram, Ghajini, Varalaaru, Thambi, Azhagiya Thamizh Magan, Santhosh Subramaniam, Polladhavan, Dindigul Sarathy, Abhiyum Naanum etc. Manobala is active in the industry from 1982 to till date. Manobala is credited to have done projects with three generations. He is a simple person and doesn’t like publicity. 

On his personal front Manobala is wedded to Usha. 

Manobala stated that people asked him to direct films like Pillai Nila. KS Ravikumar tapped his comical streak and his life changed a lot due to him. Manobala is grateful to K S Ravikumar for that. He feels that directing 40 films is indeed a commendable one.  

On 3rd May 2023, Manobala died in Chennai. He was suffering from illness related to pancreas. His sudden death saddened the film industry and fans.

Vincent Asokan is a Tamil actor who is popular for his antagonist roles. He has established a career in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu film industry. He, like his father S. A. Ashokan, is known for negative roles. He has played the villain in about 30 movies since 2004.
