Richa Gangopadhyay, born as Antara Richa Gangopadhyay, was born on March 20, 1986, in New Delhi, to Utpal and Paula Gangopadhyay. In 1989, her parents shifted to the US, and she was brought up in Pennyslvania and Michigan after spending more than a year in Coimbatore due to work reasons.
