Dadubasnamanaya is an awesome Sinhala television drama with an extensive record that remains loved by a lot of viewers and has received numerous awards. The show focuses on the traditional martial arts of Sri Lanka which is known as Angampora. It involves two cousins who are instructors in the village of Angampora; one is the head of the community (also known as Arachchi) and another is a master namely Sethupala. One day, Arachchi sees that Rana, a stranger and a student in Sethupala's class, gets martial arts instruction from his nephew. The Arachchi believe that those who educate someone outside of their society on how to utilize their ancient martial arts should be thrown to death.
