Upathissa Balasooriya is a famous Sri Lankan actor and assistant director. He debuted in the Sinhala film industry with a thriller drama film, Juliette Bhoomikawa, as an assistant director under the director Jackson Anthony. The film starred Anoja Weerasinghe, Kamal Addaraarachichi, and Mahendra Perera and has released on 31 July 1998. Upathissa made his acting debut in 2005 with Jayantha Chandrasiri's Guerilla Marketing.

Sriyantha Mendis was born on October 25, 1957, in Ragama, Sri Lanka, as the eldest child of a family of three. His father, Hiddadura Lazarus Mendis, worked as a timekeeper for the Ceylon Transport Board and later became the director of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority. His mother, Eliadura Karoline Soyza, is a teacher at the Convent of the Holy Family and is also involved in music in Heywood. Mendis completed his education at De Mazenod College in Kandana. However, Mendis has an exceptional talent for karate and excels in it.

W Jayasiri is also known as Weerapullige Jayasiri. He was born on 1st May 1947. He is a Sinhala Actor, Lyricist, and Screenplay writer born in Hirimbura, Galle. W. Jayasiri was brought up with three brothers. He went to Kithulampitiya Central Girls' College. Then he moved to Matara, where he enrolled at Sumangala Vidyalaya, Matara and then at St. Thomas' College, Matara until he took his SSC exams. His enrollment from the school was cancelled due to his misbehaviour.

Buddhadasa Vithanarachchi is a renowned Sri Lankan actor working primarily in Sinhala stage drama, movies and Tv series. He was born on 30 July 1947 in Kegalle, Sri Lanka and completed his schooling at St. Mary's College, Kegalle. Buddhadasa was passionate about acting from an early age and participated in theatre events at his school. He married Sitha Lalani Hemamala, his long-time partner, and has two daughters, Priyanwada and Sulochana and a son, Siddhartha. Buddhadasa Vithanarachchi came to Colombo in the early 70s to pursue a career in the acting and drama field.

Wasantha Wittachchi is a renowned actor, stage artist, and make-up artist, active in the Sinhala film industry for more than 45 years. He completed his education at Sedawatta Siddhartha MM Vidyalaya, Wellampitiya and learned the Russian language at the Russian Culture Centre. Wasantha began acting after he got a proposal to work on Nimal Pathirana's stage drama, Raththo. Later, he decided to train himself in the arts field, and he took guidance from Salaman Fonseka, Dr Ediriweera Sarachchandra, and Dhamma Jagoda. Wasantha joined Lionel Wendt Art Centre for his further training in acting. Wasantha Wittachi worked in several stage dramas after getting appreciation for his role in the stage drama, Raththo. He joined the television industry with Parakrama Niriella's Kada Ima.

Kamal Addararachchi is a well-known Sri Lankan Actor in the Theatre, Television, and Film Industries. He is also a singer and a Teacher. He was born on 5 February 1962. He has completed his education at Wesley College, Colombo. Kamal began his career in 1978 by performing a play, Ane Ablick.In 1981, His debut film Gamini Fonseka’s Sagarayak Meda.His famous movies are Saptha Kanya and Agnidahaya.In 2002, He received the Sarasaviya Best Actor Award for the film Agnidahaya. 

Jayantha Chandrasiri is a  well-known Sri Lankan journalist, screenplay writer, Television writer, and Filmmaker of Film Industry. He started his acting career in 1978. In 1979, he began to study theatre and got an International scholarship to Norway, Sweden, Germany, and the USA. After gaining knowledge,  he returned home and directed the stage drama Ath. He was also the editor of the newspaper Divaina. He has also acted in the movies Sagarayak Meda and Maatha. His directorial debut, Agnidahaya, won seven Golden awards and four Silver awards at the Signis International Film Festival 2003.
