Asaa Mee Tasa Mee is an Indian drama show. It premiered in 2013 on Zee Marathi. It is a Marathi language show that focuses on the life of Chakor. The show begins with a dream that features Chakor and his uncle. Chakor is a lively and caring individual. Chakor's father was a respected professor who taught people to decode puzzled phrases. He used to talk in puzzled phrases and made it a source to earn respect and money. Chakor's father had many loyal students and followers. Chakor's uncle was one of them and respected Chakor's father a lot. When Chakor's father was on his deathbed, his uncle took care of his father and remained dutiful. Chakor's father took a vow from his follower that he would care for Chakor after his death.

Chakor's uncle took the vow and brought Chakor to his house, where he nurtured him like his own son. While Chakor was living in his uncle's house, he fell in love with Chakori (uncle's daughter). Shakuntala, Chakori's mother, didn't like Chakor's presence in the house. She knew Chakori loved Chakor; however, she didn't accept their relationship. Shakuntala wanted her daughter to get married into a good family. She used to insult Chakor for not working and living in her husband's favor. Chakor never took Shakuntala's remarks to heart and continued to persuade his uncle to convince Shakuntala of his marriage with Chakori. The story escalates when Shakuntala decides to accept Chakor as her son-in-law. Chakori and Chakor were excited to engage and begin their new innings together.

However, on the engagement day, Chakor experienced unnatural changes in his body. Chakor wasn't able to put the ring to Chakori's finger. He stumbled and fell to the ground. Chakor realized he couldn't move and began to talk like his father. Recognizing that Chakor is talking like his father, Chakor's uncle recalled his last talk with the professor. Later, it was revealed that Chakor has a blood disorder (fictitious) that slows his bodily movements.
