Surya Music has brought a new TV show called Star Campus. It's a unique show that lets students demonstrate their talent. The show is in Malayalam, but it used English as well to increase its popularity, and because of the diversity of students. It was a weekly show that aired every Sunday at noon in 2015. It was repeated Thursday at 8 pm and then Saturday at noon.
In this show, the hosts visit different colleges and they host a competition and make students bring out their creative abilities. The show wasn’t restricted to one or two fields; It was available to every kind of talent. Whether it was acting, dancing, singing, playing a musical instrument, or doing some standup comedy. And after the competition, there are some winners for every category. They received merchandise from Surya Music and were selected to participate and compete against talented candidates from other colleges.
After being in the competition, they chose a winner and gave them a prize. The show was telecasted on Surya Music as well as Surya TV. The show had two episodes at every college.
