Avaril Oral is a Malayalam TV serialthat premiered on Surya TV on 18th December 2017. On its release, it aired at 8:00 PM on weekdays. The story was about Subhadhramma, a successful businesswoman. Nandita is her granddaughter. She lives in Bangalore but has to return to take care of her grandmother’s business. Even though the business was initially successful, it had started making losses.Forced to come back to Kerala, Nandita makes the acquaintance of Mohan.

They both like each other however, Nandita’s grandmother disapproves of their relationship. Now Nandita has to choose between the business and her love for Mohan. Avaril Oral is a thriller serial that was created like a feature film. Subhadramma is an old woman who runs a business in a village. Her granddaughter, Nandita, lives in Bangalore with her best friend, Ishita. When Subhadramma is worried about the losses the business has been facing lately, she asks Nandita to come back to Kerala and take care of it. Nandita agrees to it and comes back home. Meanwhile, a woman named Geetanjali moves in with Ishita. In Kerala, Nandita meets a guy named Madhav Mohan, who is a simple guy taking care of his family by doing a mediocre job.

Mohan and Nandita fall in love. She eventually announces the news to her grandmother, hoping that she would understand her love. However, Subhadramma refuses to let her granddaughter marry a man who doesn’t meet their status. Seeing no other way, Nandita forsakes the business and her family to be with Mohan. They get married but find it difficult to lead a happy life as the lack of money became an issue. As an added burden, Nandita finds out that she has a mentally challenged sister and all their family property is on her name. A property dispute case goes on among the family. Just as this is happening, Geetanjali ends up murdered. Shubhadramma, Nandita, and Mohan, now have two issues to deal with. The serial was very well received by the audience owing to its thrilling content, unlike what we usually see on the television. The audience is also connected with the portrayal of the burdens faced by a woman in society.
