K. Narayanan, born in Nandipuram in 1933, is an Indian editor and film director working for the Malayalam film industry. He has also worked as an editor in a few Tamil movies. Born to Kannan Nair and Kalyaniyamma in Thikkat house near Trichur, Mr. Narayanan completed his schooling in Madras. He dropped out in the 8th grade and started his career in cinema in 1947.
