Korean Tv Serial While You Were Sleeping - 2017

While You Were Sleeping is a South Korean TV series written by Park Hye-Ryun, and Oh Choong-hwan directed it. The serial started premiering on SBS every Wednesday and Thursday from 27^th September 2017 to 16^th November 2017 at 10:00 pm. It is also available on Viu and Netflix. Teddy Hoon-Tak Jung and Hwang Ki-Yong produced the serial under the banner Sidus HQ. The series was exclusively shot at Ansan in Gyeonggi Province in South Korea.

The story deals with three people, a prosecutor, a reporter, and a police officer, who foresee certain events in their dreams. Nam Hong-Joo is a field reporter, Jung Jae-chan is a prosecutor, and Han Woo-Tak is a cop.

In her dream, Hong-joo hugs a wounded stranger on a snowy night at a crossroad. Soon, she sees Jae-chan, the stranger who came in her dream shifts with his younger brother Jung Seung-won in a house near Hong Joo’s. Hong works with her mom Yoon Moon-sun in their restaurant. There she meets a person whom she saw in her dream. He died in her dream, and she was shocked to know that he dies as she dreamt. Similarly, she dreams that her mother dies in an accident and turns nervous.

Jae-chan dreams that a lawyer, Yoo-Beom dates Hong-Joo. Due to heavy snowfall, Yoo-Beom drives Hong-Joo's car. In an accident, a policeman gets killed. Hong goes unconscious, and Yoo-Beom claims that she was driving. She recovers from a coma after several months and comes to know that she had to pay compensation for the policeman’s family. She commits suicide while trying to prove her innocence. Jae Chan is shocked by this dream. What did Han Woo-Tak saw in his dream? Did they find any solution to this dream issue? The rest of the story deals with it.
