Touch Your Heart is a romantic and funny Korean series broadcast on the TVN channel. The story starts from the downfall of a Korean actress because of her involvement in a drug scandal and various charges. She transforms from a famous actress all over Korea to soon forgotten actress, people talk ill of her. Her name is Oh-Yoon Seo. She has a best friend cum manager named Hyeok-jun. She is still going through her falling period when Hyeok brings a script named ‘Love Hurts.’ She loves the script and would anything to grab the lead actress role for this series and regain her status as one of the best actresses. Hyeok says that the shooting for the series is abroad so not a single actress is agreeing to do this series. The director agrees to give Yoon Seo the role on the condition that she has to have a real-life experience regarding the law. That is she has to work in an actual law firm before becoming suitable for this role. She has to work for attorney Kwon Jung-Ruk, for three months, as his secretary.

The office staff, where Yoon Seo is going to work, becomes excited that a celebrity is going to work with them soon. She is a tad bit arrogant and dresses like she is going for a model shooting, rather than work. Jung-Ruk seems highly unimpressed by her careless behavior. He gives her a list of rules and simple work first. Her first job is to forward phone calls to her boss’ table. She does not even know how to do that. She is busy with her phone, updating her current life on social media. She also cannot eat alone so asks Kwon Jung-Ruk to eat with her. He also does not approve of this extra affectionate behavior of his colleagues towards Yoon-Seo. She soon gets annoyed by his rude behavior and lets her frustration out in the washroom. Hyeok wakes Yoon-Seo up every morning to get her work ready for work. She gets late for her work. She also talks in terms of references from movies in the office. But after her first day, she improves. She makes a to-do list and perfects the forwarding of calls, also starts wearing formal clothes. She has started enjoying her work. But one day she gets scolded at by Jung-Ruk for arranging his desk and in a fit of anger Yoon-Seo asks him if he hates women. Jung-Ruk always calls her by her wrong name. Later he apologizes to her as his files were taken by someone else. She gets drunk in her welcoming party and humiliates herself by complaining about Jung-Ruk’s cold behavior. Hyeok comments that he is handsome while also bringing her lunch as Jung refused to have lunch with her. But after listening to the office’s gossip that she remained hungry, he feels bad and asks her to eat lunch with her. He does not like the way the rest of the office gossips about her past relationships or drug scandal. He saves her from an accident, posing as her attorney, for her lousy driving as she decided to ride herself to office. They become friends after this incident and this time Jung-Ruk saves her from falling. But he starts giving her much more work.

Whenever he takes her to real lawyer meetings he arranges her in an in a cognitive mode so that no-one recognizes her as an actress. He tells her to wear a pair of oversized sunglasses, a mask, and baggy clothes. He also advises her to not use her voice as this might give away her identity. They have lunch together and also comments that people thought her acting was awkward. She buys books on the law to become more acquainted with the law. They go to every case together. She always wears a scarf to remain invisible. She interferes with his conversation with his client which angers him. Jung-Ruk is very good with his clients. He talks politely with them also takes them to dinner to know them better as this helps him win the case. Oh Yoon-Seo has a heart-to-heart talk with the client to persuade her to be honest with Jung-Ruk. This makes Jung-Ruk realize that she is also good at her work. She also asks him to tutor her. They watch movies about the law to increase their knowledge.

When Jung-Ruk meets another lady and smiles at her, Yoon-Seo becomes jealous. In turn, Jung-Ruk becomes jealous when he hears her talk on the phone with Hyeok. He reads about her past relationship with the CEO and also comes to know that she was stalked by her druggie ex-boyfriend. He becomes determined to know her past. Yoon-Seo re-arranges his desk in pinks but he gets irritated and demands his black things back in his office. They also start using heart-shaped sticky notes for conversing. Unknowingly, they start becoming close, and one-night Yoon-Seo babbles that she likes him, being in an extremely drunk state. They both like one other. The story keeps on developing and both of them investigate more and more cases together. She keeps imagining Jung-Ruk proposing her in grand gestures. After many embarrassing ‘asking-outs’ by both of them, they finally decide to date. Both of them start going out on a romantic outing. They also go to an office workshop cum trip together. Yoon-Seo’s three months pass by and she tries to make the best of her time with Jung-Ruk. Would she take the offer going abroad to reclaim her status as an actress or would she choose Jung-Ruk?
