Citizen is a Kannada love story broadcast on the Kasthuri TV channel. It is a love story of the new era. Normally it is the guy who follows the girl with whom he is in love. But this serial is just the opposite. This serial will question all the things we learned about love and life. This is the story of a young girl studying in college. She has the most supportive family who always stands for her against all odds.
Her family is big and they support her every decision. Now she falls in love with a man who is completely out of her reach. She belongs to a middle-class family. But the guy is insanely rich. The girl’s family is in full support of her decision to propose that guy. The girl is down on her knees proposing the guy with a red rose in her hand and behind the trees and her family is hiding trying to support and there to catch her if that guy refuses to be her boyfriend. All the family members are listening to every word she is saying and feeling immensely proud.
They are proud that their girl is finally doing something on her own without their guidance or interference. They are crying behind the trees feeling like this is the best day of their life. Now the guy and the girl are going to take the most important decision of their lives. The girl is still down on her knees, the guy is forwarding his hand in slow motion to accept that rose, but something strikes his mind. It is the image of his mother warning, him about doing something which is not supervised by her. Because of this warning, he hesitates to accept the rose.Â
