The story revolves around a girl named Sofia, who, following the passing away of her parents' lived with her elder brother Barry, and their younger brother was off studying at a boarding school. Her parents death had caused significant psychological trauma to Sofia.
No matter how hard she tried, she always found herself unable to get over the incident, and her pain only worsened with time. Her later life experiences of being bullied in school and having an absence of friends and confidantes only seemed to make life more and more difficult for her. Her emotions were building up inside of her, and she had no one to talk to, only her brother, with whom she didn’t feel like sharing anything. All this while, another aspect that disturbed her was a strange presence that she constantly felt around herself, which almost seemed demonic. It was a presence that was most active at nighttime, making both days and nights difficult for Sophia.
