Sitar Recital telecasts on DD Bharati which is a government-owned channel. DD Bharati is one of the oldest channels of India. DD Bharati is owned by Doordarshan group which owned many other channels, including DD News, DD Tamil, DD Kannada, and DD Malayalam. DD Bharati also features many musical shows like Sitar Recital. Sitar Recital T.V program aims to show the traditional music of India. Artists come from different parts of India which bring their regional culture and music on the show.
