Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) is an Indian Hindi-language television game show on Sony Entertainment Television. The host asks questions to the contestants and they have to choose the answer from the given four options.

This 14th season has 17 questions with three lifelines, 50:50, an Audience poll, and Phone-a-Friend (which uses video calls, 45 seconds). The prize money for this season is upgraded from 7 crores to 7.5 crores for celebrating India's 75th Independence Day. A new safety zone is also added between 50 lakh and one crore. If the contestant gets the wrong answer for the 17th question, they can leave the show with 75 Lakhs. The first episode of the 14th season began with a heart-touching monologue dedicated to India, presented by Big B. This episode was dedicated to the real heroes who have made the country proud.
