. The show consisted of a celebrity, alone in a room, connected to a machine that monitored his or her heartbeat. There was no anchor or audience in the show; only a male voice asked the contestant questions ranging from politics to entertainment, lifestyle, sports and movies. The contestant was allowed five – hundred heartbeats to answer each question. Each question had multiple options, of which only a few were correct. The contestant had to guess the correct options using less than five hundred heartbeats. If he or she answered correctly, they gained a certain amount of prize money in their bank accounts and moved on to the next question.
Some other perks were made available to the contestants to add some excitement to the show. They had access to three telephones, which they could use to make calls and ask for help with the questions. But the participants weren’t allowed to call the same person twice. Many other detailed rules were made. For example, after every three questions, the contestant was given three options: they could play on, get a sixty-second refreshment and relaxation break, or they could choose the Cash Out question.
