, this satirical series is a dark twist on the classical puppet shows prevalent in India.
This long-running show was initially hosted by Shri Brij Bhushan Shukla; however, with time, the mantle has been passed down by him to other hosts. The more recent clips do not feature a host anymore. When this show was first launched, the host would be the only human on screen; a topic for a skit would be introduced, and the puppets resembling famous human personalities would come and play-act the various national and international political situations.
However, now, the clips start with the puppets themselves. Skits presenting notable Indian and foreign politicians are featured on this show. The show effectively tears down the hypocrisy involved in politicians and politics. It reveals the double-faced nature of the people in power and helps to dispel the ignorance of the mass.
