At just the age of Sixteen Years, Aryan earned a name for himself with his immense talent in the field of Dancing. Aryan was born and brought up in the Ranchi City of Jharkhand in India. He studied at St. Anthony School in Ranchi, where also he is a great athlete. He is reserved and shy kind of person who loves to be quiet and lets his Dance speak for him.

He is also a practising Gymnast that helps him work on his flexibility. He is a family person and is always looking up to them before taking any important decisions of his life. His entry into the TV industry was through the Indian Version of the Famous American Reality Show “So You Think You Can Dance” by the same name.

While the show produced by 19 Entertainment and Dick Clark Productions in the United States, the Indian Version is produced under the banner of Endemol India by Deepak Dhar Deepak Dhar is a famous producer and director, who >> Read More... . The concept of the show is based on selecting dancing talent in different regions of the country and selected the Top 20 contenders for the actual participation in the show. An esteemed panel of judges decides the best talent out of all selected contestants. The last one standing has coveted the title.

Aryan Patra was a lucky fellow to have the support of his family to audition for this show. It was his sheer hard work, Talent and Passion for Dancing that got him selected as a contestant on the show. He is a believer of learning and improving which shows in his work. Even after earning a name for himself, he is a down to earth person who is sweet to everyone. When once asked if he had any girlfriend, he shyly told the media that he was too young to be dating at the moment and is very much single.
