Teri Meri Doriyan (Hindi for Our Distances) is a popular Indian romantic family drama TV series that originally aired on 4 January 2023. It is currently ongoing. It airs on the Star Plus channel and it's available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. Jaideep Sen and Ashwini Saraswat have directed it. Rajesh Chawla has written it. Cockcrow Entertainment and Shaika Films have produced it. It currently has 290 episodes, each with a runtime of 22-25 minutes. The Cast includes Vijayendra Kumeria, Himanshi Parashar, Tushar Dhembla, Roopam Sharma, Jatin Arora, and Prachi Hada.

The plot opens with the three sisters of the Monga family. Seerat, the eldest, is a beauty queen and the golden child of the family. She gets pampered by her mother, Santosh. She wishes for Seerat to marry a rich man. The middle child- Sahiba, is a hardworking and independent artist who supports her family by selling art. Keerat is the youngest. The show also presents the three brothers of the Brar family- Angad, Garry, and Veer.

As fate plays its game, Angad falls in love with Seerat, the eldest. However, Garry manipulates Seerat into loving him. After that, on Seerat and Angad’s wedding day, Seerat runs away with Garry. As these events unfold, it is revealed that Santosh had pretended to be rich to get Seerat married off to Angad, and thus, the Monga family is labeled as fraud. To save face and maintain their families’ reputations, Angad and Sahiba get married, even though they’re miserable together and despise each other.

As time passes, Sahiba is gradually accepted by some of Angad’s family members because of her good nature, but his parents still do not approve of Sahiba. Eventually, Sahiba and Angad face their differences and agree to form a mutual understanding. Just as this happens, Angad’s trust in Sahiba is shaken as she exposes Garry for eloping with Seerat, the eldest Monga Daughter.

After discovering the truth, the Brar family ousts Garry, although Angad eventually brings him back home. Angad suggests that Garry and Seerat get married to fix her life. Sahiba protests against it as she knows what kind of a person Garry is and how he would never change. It doesn’t work though and Garry and Seerat end up getting married. Sahiba’s assumptions turn out to be true when it's revealed that Garry is still the womanizer he always was.

It turned out that Garry only pretended to have changed so he could come back into his family and the Brar house. To sabotage his allegations, Garry traps Sahiba and turns the whole family against her, but Sahiba turns things around and proves her innocence to the family, and again, exposes Garry for all his fraud, including how he was cheating on Seerat even after their marriage.
