He completed his schooling in Mumbai. When he was in his school, he used to be a very active student. He was very hardworking as a kid. He was the member of the drama club at his school, and used to give stage performances during school functions. As a kid, he also used to take dance training.

He took part in various contests held at his school and has won many of them. He also used to take part in street plays and various drama competitions. Shailesh has taken part in various school level drama competitions, while representing his school. He did his college from MMK College, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
