The show revolved around a widowed diamond merchant played by Ronit Roy who marries a poor village girl purely to save his business and how the girl wins the hearts of her husband and in-laws. Nikhil Chaddha is a well known Indian television actor who has featured in some of the most popular TV serials. He was first seen on television as one of the primary characters in the TV fable named Charnon Mein Swarg whose title meant “Heaven at the feet of Parent”. The show aired on the channel Colors in the year 2009 and went on for a year. It was based on love, respect between parents and children.

Post that, he essayed an important role as the main protagonist’s husband in the serial Geeta Ka Dharmyudh which was telecasted on Zee TV. The show, however, was closed down in 5 months due to low TRPs.

Most recently, he was seen portraying the character of Vihaan Agarwal in the hugely popular Zee TV show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke. He played a central role in the show and had the role of a character called Jaffer who would be the leader of a company that investigated paranormal activities in a logical and scientific manner.

He once revealed that although he has gotten many offers, he has not taken all of them since he is very choosy about what roles he plays.
