The series revolves around the lives of three women- Sonali, Mamta, and Disha, three young unmarried girls with three significantly different personalities. These three live in a hostel, and as we delve more into their inner lives, we see how they deal with their everyday problems. In the first episode, the girls feel pretty distressed as it is their first Diwali away from home. As glorious as a festival Diwali is, it’s completely understandable as to how they think. But the girls have got each other. How do they celebrate their Diwali? Are they able to keep up with the Diwali spirit or not? The rest of the episode deals with that. 

With comedic instances like Mamta investigating who took her milk as it went missing in the fridge, and Disha’s date night ending up in Poonam’s apartment the show indeed becomes all the more entertaining.The second episode deals with Mamta wanting a ‘batwara’ or partition in the fridge. An interesting fact- the series is a Girliyapa original, which is India’s leading women-centric channel. The stories that Girlyapa presents are relatable to women who probably are not given much importance.

It is an empowering initiative to tell the simple, boring, crazy, acting, and weird phases of women’s lives by making them the protagonists. They present us with Female leads to build more relatability. The show celebrates female friendship and bond. In a world filled with misogyny, where ‘brotherhood’ is considered to be the strongest bond, Pa-Gals presents everlasting and beautiful female friendships.
