Pratigya is a public prosecutor now. The Thakurs, who were once involved in criminal activities, had given up everything and started following a normal lifestyle. Balwant’s son gets hit by a car driven by Garv, who was forcefully locked in the car by Samar and Girish. Krishna knows the truth but hides it from Pratigya. Balwant’s son dies in this accident and he wanted to find out the person who killed his son. So, he takes this to Pratigya. Krishna, who doesn’t want Garv to get stuck with this case, destroys the evidence that might make Garv face legal punishment. Later, Pratigya comes to know the truth and assure that it will be treated as an accident and not a murder. So, she brings Garv to court. The judge also stated what Pratigya said, but he punishes Krishna for destroying the evidence. So, Krishna gets arrested.

Pratigya’s health started deteriorating and the doctor's report stated that she has cancer. In a series of incidents, Krishna gets married to Meera. Komal knows that Sumitra has given poison to Pratigya to separate her permanently from Krishna. Aadarsh, who loved Komal, misunderstands her and marries Pratigya. Later, Krishna comes to know that Pratigya was poisoned. In an accident, Pratigya goes into a coma and Krishna loses his memory. After a year, Pratigya gains consciousness and takes steps to regain Krishna’s memory. Will they rejoin? The rest of the story deals with it.
