Agar Tum Saath Ho is a love story between a rich girl and a middle-class boy. The girl name Neema, who is from a wealthy and prosperous family, falls in love with a middle-class boy, Ravi. Neema does not want to depend on her father. On the day, in college, she fights against the principal for her college friend. Neema’s father gets anxious when he hears news. Kamal wants to buy a car for Neema, but he feels it may create unnecessary problems. Neema visits Ravi and feels it's very homely in his house. Neema tells about Ravi to her Bua. She praises Ravi about the way he is living, and his friendliness, etc.
Neema and Ravi turn much close in the following days, but her father didn’t approve their friendship.
