Liv Johanne Ullmann is both an actress and a director, born on 16th December 1938. She was born in Tokyo, Japan. Her father, Erik Viggo Ullmann, at that time was working as an Aircraft engineer in Tokyo. Her father is a Norwegian, and so is she. Her mother, Janna Erbe, was also a Norwegian. In 1940, when she was two years old her entire family relocated to Toronto, Canada. Later, they moved to New York, where her father died in 1945.
