The Best Story Award goes to Bollywood Hindi film writer, Akhtar Mirza after penning the story of Naya Daur. Artist and art director, M. R. Acharekar won the Best Art Direction for the Bollywood drama film, Pardesi. The Best Cinematographer Award goes to Faredoon A. Irani for his work in Mother India. R. Kaushik won The Best Sound Recording Award for the same film. Shivaji Awdhut won the Best Editor Award for the film, Sharada.
