The format of the show goes like this; the show opens with a quick compilation of the videos being featured in the episode while the voiceover of Pitts narrating, "Without so much as a warning, life hangs in the balance. Human endeavour turns to chaos. And within seconds, nothing will ever be the same. Ever” plays in the background.

This slide show is followed by the one-line narration of any two incidents from the episode, which is ended with the phase ‘destroyed in seconds’ inserted in it. Then the intro of the show is played. Once the intro ends, the detailed videos of the incidents, those that make the viewers flinch, are played as recorded by someone else. Whenever we see something happen, we immediately reach for our cameras and mobiles. Videos captured on these devices or security cameras are assembled in one place.
