Jibon Jyoti is a Bengali language drama serial that premiered on 19th March 2018 on Star Jalsha. The serial focuses on the lives of Jyoti, a village girl who aspires to be skilled at stick fighting, a form of martial arts, and Siddhartha, the son of a Zamindar (Landlord). Jyoti decides to protect Siddhartha after learning that someone has intentions of killing him. Jyoti protects Siddhartha from various attacks and gets his attention. Siddhartha's girlfriend, Rusha, dislikes Jyoti and becomes a wall between her and Siddhartha. However, every time Siddhartha is attacked, Rusha runs away from the scene while Jyoti protects Siddhartha at all costs.

Later, Siddhartha marries Jyoti, but Jyoti doesn't leave her bodyguard attitude and behaves like Siddhartha's bodyguard more than his wife.
