” is a mythological drama telecasted on Sun Life and focuses on the life and story of the snake goddess Maa Manasa. Manasa was the daughter of Lord Shiva and the wife of saint Jagatguru. Upon observing many gods and goddesses getting worshiped by common people, Manasa developed a whim of her own. She, too, wanted to be cherished and respected by the mortals. When she was rejected by both her father and husband, her whim developed into a strong determination and she continued to try and create different situations so that people might start to worship her. Her trials caused a lot of trouble among the divine beings but that didn’t stop her from achieving her goal. How she succeeds in her aim and what stories are behind all the trouble constitute the rest of the episodes.
