Life teaches us many things over the years. However, we meet some people who unexpectedly make their way into our lives and teach us many things throughout our journey. Spending time with them, enjoying their company, shower us with positive or negative energy and some attributes of these people rub off on us which later, in turn, come out as handy in our life. “It Happened In Hong Kong” on Voot uses a similar concept to tell the story of Amol and Ahana. These young individuals make a solo trip to Hong Kong and unexpectedly meet each other. However, although they are strangers, they immediately take a liking towards each other, and hence their journey together in Hong Kong begins.
What started as a friendship and a simple trip turned into a new chapter of their lives as they slowly began to fall in love with each other. Spending time together brings several realizations in both their minds, and they both get to learn something from each other. However, as their trip comes to an end, they both have the sudden realization that they both would need to return to their previous lives, and this affects them greatly. As their past catches up with their present, they feel like they have been reborn as different individuals, leading them to begin their new chapter in life. Is this the end of their journey together? Will they cross the path ever again? The answers constitute the rest of the episodes.
