Oye! It’s Friday was a variety talk show that used to be aired on NDTV Imagine between December 12, 2008 and March 2009. It aired a total of 52 episodes and enjoyed a moderately successful run. Each episode ran for about fifty-two minutes. The serial was produced by the company Endemol India.

The show was hosted by Indian actor/celebrity Farhan Akhtar and it featured a new celebrity every week. The show also comprised of special performances by dancers and singers, and it was also punctuated by humour and light-hearted comedy. The serial featured some of the best actors and performers in India, including Katrina Kaif, Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan, Amrita Arora, and Kailash Kher. The series sprung up during the proliferation of other talk shows such as Koffee with Karan and Simi Selects.

Oye! It,s Friday tried to wow viewers during its first episode by hosting Hrithik Roshan and performance appearances by Neha Dhupia and Hard Kaur. Farhan Akhtar played a great host, although there were some times when his discomfort was visible to the audience. The serial was praised for its concentration on visuals, but it got some criticism for its low quality of humor.
