Mouchaak (2021) is a drama that is based on the extent of destructive power a woman’s mind can conjure up. Mou (MonamiGhosh) is the lustrous wife of Tarak panda (KanchanMullick). Tarak locks his wife up to prevent her from philandering around in his absence. But unknown to Tarak, all of his wife’s lovers have a duplicate key to their door. Thus, begins a series of unfortunate events triggered by visits made by Mou’s lovers. A night of vice leads to a horde of lovers, dead bodies, a spy planted by Mou’s husband, and a lottery ticket that is the key to her glittering future. Mouchaak is the story of a suppressed individual who is dying to express her true self. Mou is synonymous with the suffocated vice that needs to be catered to with the proper attention to blossom into its true form. The series is created by SahanaDutta of Mohomaya fame.
