Karthik, the energetic youngster, works in an IT company. He is one of the top employees of the company and bags Award for the Best Employee too. Soon he returns to his village and finds some interest in farming, his family business. So, he quits his IT job and becomes a full-time modern farmer. Did he succeed in his attempt? This is what the story is about!
Sharwanand has done a decent job and impresses the audience. Priyanka didn’t have anything significant to do like any other template female leads in the usually penned movies. Rao Ramesh and Sai kumar had done great jobs and proved their versatility.
The story has nothing new, but the director has defined a new technique in this film, which is untouched by filmmakers regarding farming films. The second half is quite interesting than the first half and the film deals with the debacles involved in farming and how to make farming successful. The main plus point is that it impresses the youngsters to pursue farming, which other films failed to do. The emotional scenes in the climax and the dialogues are heart-touching. The BGM by Mickey is fantastic. The cinematography is perfect and so does the editing.
What’s Not There?
Sreekaram is one of the emotional films that touch the youngsters too. Although some important things needed to support the farmers are not insisted, the film gives a satisfying experience to the farmers and the audience!
