Plot
Kaliyugam Pattanamlo is based on the story of twin brothers Vijay and Sagar. Sagar has strange psychological behaviour, which he has developed since his childhood. Both are residing in Nandyal town which is in the Rayalaseema region. The unique psychological behavior caused terrible events in the neighborhood. Sagar's father Devi Prasad admits him to the medical health facility. The story follows Vijay tries to reconcile his brother and parents. There are numerous crimes have taken place in the community where Vijay's girlfriend Aayushi Patel tries to hide suspects who were involved in the crime. What happens next is the story.
Star Performance
Vishva Karthikeya and Aayushi Patel gave their best on-screen performances as individuals. Vishva's versatility in acting is commendable. Chitra Shukla portrayed her role as a policewoman effortlessly. Anish Kuruvilla did an excellent job as a chief police officer.
Analysis
The writer and director of this movie Ramakhanth Reddy fascinatingly presented the film. The first half of this movie is relatively slow because of the mystery events happening in the community. Sagar's identity is not shown correctly in the first half. It has unpredicted twists and turns until the true culprit is revealed, keeping the audience engaged. The directors explained the reason for having this movie's name by various moral and social degradation. The director developed diversified characters. Aayushi's performance is thrilling to watch. The ending gives goosebumps because it showcases girl power. The second half is not as well made as the first half. The second half lacks many thrilling moments. The cinematography by Charan is quite good. The background score is not linear. The production of the film is mind-blowing. Overall performance and environments could have been better in such a way to gain more spotlight. The editing works are appealing to the viewers.
