Plot

Gaali Sampath is a speech-impaired person. He dreams of performing in dramas. His son, Suri, a truck driver, wants to own a truck and hence saves money. Gaali Sampath has some clash with his villagers and this makes his son misunderstand him. Sampath hears about a drama competition in which he has a possibility to win the prize money. His love for drama lands him in trouble and Suri sends him out. What happens next? Did he console his dad and get him back? Did Suri marry his love interest, papa? The rest of the film deals with this.

Star Performance

Rajendra Prasad excelled in his role. He is good at emoting in sentimental scenes and impresses. Lovely Singh has nothing big to perform.

Analysis

Rajendra Prasad is one of the finest actors in Tollywood. He has daringly picked up this character and done it well. However, neither the story nor the screenplay is gripping. Although there are a few emotional sequences, some effective screenplay could have made it better. The characters are not depicted well. But, the actors filled the space with their natural performances. With strong performers lined up in this film, the director should have made use of them a bit well.

With a good star cast, the makers could have designed a better story. However, the film is watchable once for the performances of the stars!
