Plot
Story of Bose(Sharwanand) a mentally challenged boy, who saves everyone from a bomb threat at the Rocket Centre during an event.
Star performance
The most significant plus point of this film is Sharawand and his performance as Bose, it's tough to portray a mental disability but Sharawand puts forth a commendable performance balanced in its approach not coming off as comical. Suhasini fits in like a glove in her role of a doting mother nurturing and loving. Shriya Reddy also is good, comes off as daunting but maybe that was the direction she was given. Pavan Malhotra (one of the finest actors of the country) delivers a fantastic performance. LB Sriram and Krishna Bhagavan handled the comedic angle in the film.
Analysis
The film’s story is incredibly emotional. As the writer, Gangaraju has maintained the innocence of the lead well. The film heavily relies on portraying the lead character, and Sharwanand does a commendable job. He’s the driving force that makes this film emotionally drained. Suhasini as the mother also lent great support. Now let's get to brasstacks. The film is prolonged, and the runtime makes it hard to sit through, there are so many unnecessary sequences, not even established well and just don’t even take the story forward. The cinematography is fine, visually it's not very appealing. Editing could’ve been better. The music is good and harmonious. The screenplay is designed like a 80s,90s film which will be distracting. The climax is incredibly emotional, but you have set aside the logic. Amma Cheppindi’s story and performances should be your forte when watching it in the theaters.

Amma Cheppindi should be watched for its emotionally drained premise and honest performances, Though the pace of the film is slow, all of it comes beautifully in the climax. Do give it a try.
