Plot

Iniyan and Rene were in head over heels in love with each other. But, there comes a situation, and they decide to break up. People with different views and ideas meet in Pondy. They decide to stage a drama. Every one of them sees Love in a different perception. Arjun has a different idea about love and the caste system. Will the team be able to stage the drama perfectly? The rest of the film deals with it.

Star Performance

Dushara is the fulcrum of the story. She plays her character excellently and tops the chart. Kalidas, Kalaiyarasan, and the other stars did justice to the given roles.

Analysis

Ranjith’s script and artist selection are fantastic. Dushara and Kalidas make good pair. Their chemistry is astounding. All the stars are picked and placed in the correct roles. Even a small role is designed perfectly. The dialogues are good, and the conversation between Kalidas and Dushara is good. Dushara’s dialogues are sharp, and they are not only to the characters in the film but to the public. Some dialogues are motivational and relaxing. The cinematography is good, and the BGN by Tenma is decent. The color tone used is cool, and it reveals the mood of the situation.

Verdict

It is a bold attempt by Ranjith that speaks about boy-girl love, same-gender love, caste, etc. in a single film. For the good execution and performances, the film is watchable once!
