Plot

Sekar, an IT employee, loves Pooja, who works with him in the same company. Sekar hates dogs. Unfortunately, a dog bites him, and he starts behaving like a dog, and the dog starts behaving like a man. Rajarajan, a scientist, had been using the dog for his experiments. Sekar was about to receive an appraisal. Pooja had also opened about her love to her father, who in turn was ready to meet Sekar. Before their meeting, Sekar should stop behaving like a dog and return to normal. Will that happen? The rest of the film deals with that.

Star Performance

Sathish has done a decent job. He fits well in the role and impresses the audience, especially kids. Pavithra is good with her debut role. George Maryan gets an exciting role. Manobala’s role is stereotypic. The rest of the stars had done justice to the given roles.

Analysis

The story is interesting, and the screenplay is quick. However, some scenes need a better screenplay, and some characters are not explained properly. Sathish is good in romantic scenes too. The comedy scenes worked out well and satisfied the audience and the makers. The execution is decent. The cinematography, BGM, and editing are pretty decent.

Verdict

Naai Sekar is a complete comedy entertainer that impresses the kids. That doesn’t mean it is a kid’s movie. The adults who love comedy films will also be impressed with this subject. Naai Sekar – watchable once!
