Plot

 Vasanth and Aaranya are a newly married couple. They are getting ready to enjoy their romantic vacation in their beach villa. When it becomes night, something mysterious happens. Vasanth and Aaranya feel somebody’s presence in the villa. When they try to check what’s happening, they find themselves in a parallel world. Soon, Vasanth complains to the cops that his wife is missing. What happened to Aaranya? Will the cops find her? What’s wrong with the villa? The rest of the film showcases all these.

Star Performance

Jiiva and Priya Bhavani Shankar did a good job. They play the husband and wife, and their onscreen chemistry is good. Usually, Jiiva attempts to give the audience a different story and different himself. This time, too, he has tried something different. Priya Bhavani Shankar had nothing much to do, yet she did what was required. Vivek Prasanna, Swayam Siddha, Sha Ra, and Yog Japee show their presence.

Analysis

The director should be appreciated for making a film with a less number of characters. The film showcases something like a time loop but in a different perspective. Jiiva appears in the movie throughout. Priya’s role could’ve been developed better to give her some scope to perform. The rest of the characters are maintained as cameo roles. However, the director maintained the pace throughout. Gokul Benoy’s visuals are impressive. The minimal light setting is good in the dark sequences. The editing department, too, worked hard to make the film crisper.
