Plot

Sivan, Michael and Sadhaam are close pals. Michael is unmarried and his parents had been forcing him to get married. All on a sudden, Michael, who is in the mid-forties gets an impression on Delna, a 25 plus girl. When his parents come to know about his, they accept his choice and take essential steps to settle him. Did Michael marry Delna? Meanwhile, Michael and friends had a tiff due to some unwanted issues. Did they solve the indifference? Watch the film to get the rest of the story.

Star Performance

As usual, Jayaram has given out a natural performance. Dharmajan, Ramesh Pisharody, Salim Kumar and Vijaya Raghavan did justice to the given roles.

Analysis

Although it seems to be the usual story of friends, the director had made it a bit different. The script and screenplay are good. Yet, the first half is a bit slow to establish the plot. The comedy scenes had worked out well. The characters are designed well and all the stars suit the roles well. The second half is interesting and the timely comedy scenes are perfect. The director has packed up the film with humor and suspense and has given a neat climax.

Verdict

Although the film takes to settle down in the first half, the second half is quite interesting with the performances of the stars. My Great Grandfather – watchable once!
