Plot
Swaroop is the elder boy in his family, and he has a younger sister. He often thinks that his parents favour his sister more than him. His mischiefs are often considered equally as a crime by the people surrounding him, and this leads him to frustration. A magician, who visits Swaroop’s school impressed him and he cares for Swaroop. His presence gave Swaroop a new joy in his life. However, after his departure, Swaroop has to take his old position. Swaroop gets an iPad and an AI robot named Monica as a gift from his uncle, an IT person. Monica’s companionship brings a lot of positive changes in Swaroop’s behaviour. Soon, Swaroop becomes a prodigy in the IT field, which distances his family from him. What happens next? The rest of the film speaks about this.
Star Performance
Sreepath portrayed his role as a misunderstood child well. His interactions with AI are interesting, and he delivered a commendable performance. Aparna’s performance as an AI robot is remarkable. Gopinath is pretty decent in his role.
Analysis
The story is simple, and it deals with mental issues and familial relationships. The difference is that AI is used as a character in the movie. The scenes with Swaroop and Monica are shot well. His mental pressures and opinion about the world are shown well. The film’s strength is speaking about the child’s mental strength. However, the narrative style is not impressive. Though the performances are neat, the way the story is being narrated needs to attract the audience, and this is the place where the film slips. The cinematography and editing should have been better. The music is okay.
