Plot
The film’s storyline focuses on a village where crime and corruption prevail. Dulquer Salman, playing the role of Kotha Rajendran, is the most fearful gangster and the mastermind behind all the crimes. With his scheming techniques, he takes over his enemies and friends. Whereas Shabeer Kallarakal playing the part of Kannan, is Kotha’s biggest enemy and competitor who wants to acquire Kotha’s place. Despite being a powerful gangster, he struggles to cope up with family and friends. The constant cat-and-mouse fight between Kotha Rajendran and Kannan leads to a very terrifying climax. Will Kannan succeed in defeating Kotha?
Star Performance
Dulquer Salmaan, being a very versatile actor, portrays the part of a valorous gangster named Kotha Rajendran very well. His in-depth acting of a very violent as well as emotional person is exemplary. His journey from a petty gangster to a dominant leader is filled with several ups and downs in the film. Aishwarya Lekshmi playing the role of Kotha’s lover, emotionally supports Kotha in the film. The role played by the supporting actors has been an important asset in the success of the film.
Analysis
With such a mindblowing story, the director Abhilash Joshiy has brought out a very versatile side of Dulquer salmaan in this film. His role as a leading gangster, a loving son, a good friend and a mind blowing lover has won the heart of the audiences. The cameraperson has perfectly captured the violent, romantic, emotional and action scenes in the film. The overall storyline is filled with action-packed and suspenseful sequences. However, the female characters can be seen on screen for a limited period.
