Dulquer Salmaan is evolving as a good actor film by film and Kali is a perfect fodder to his acting talent. He brings forth anger and humor in a balanced manner. Sai Pallavi does full justice to her role, and her somewhat average Malayalam diction is thankfully compensated by her great performance. Soubin Shahir, who is seen in many Malayalam movies of late, does a commendable job while Vinayakan’s essaying of his character is remarkable. Chemban Vinod Jose does a neat job in his brief role.
The script of Rajesh Gopinadhan is written in a brilliant manner and
Sameer Thahir, the director, does full justice to the script.
A dynamic emotion called “anger” is astutely showcased in Kali. Well, Kali, the title itself, oozes anger. A brilliant blend of anger and love is shown in the movie.
What’s not there?
Gopi Sundar’s music is average.
The movie can definitely be watched once for its good execution.
