Supriya Lohith is an Indian playback singer who has captivated the audience with her mellifluous voice in soundtracks for more than fifty movies over the past decade. Her eloquence in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Tulu has made her an eminent figure in the south Indian music industry. Born in Bangalore, Karnataka, she began singing on stage at local events from a tender age of six.

Sanchita Padukone is a Sandalwood actor from Karnataka; beautiful and talented much like her namesake Deepika Padukone. Known mostly for her Tamil movies, this 27-year-old actress made her debut in 2009 through 'Ravana,' a Kannada film directed by Yogish Hunasur. In the movie, Sanchita appears as young Divya who is caught in a love triangle. 'Ravana' is the remake of the Tamil movie ‘Kaadhal Kondein’. Although the movie did not, considerably, gain many raves from the critics; Sanchita’s work was highly appreciated. This is remarkable, especially since ‘Ravana’ is her debut movie.

Bhavana Rao is a beautiful Indian film actress who has contributed to the Indian Cinema mainly in Kannada and Tamil language. She was born in Shimoga, India. She is popularly known as Shikha. She made her debut with the movie Gaalipata in the year 2008; It is a Kannada film being a romantic comedy. The film has won many awards for its excellence in certain fields of filmmaking. Bhavana Rao managed to get appreciation from the critics for her work in the debut film. This film brought her leading roles in movies like Kola Kholaya Mundhirika is a capture of hilarious comedy in Tamil language, released in the year 2010. Shikha played the lead role with other co-actors, VaahRe Vaah, and a recent movie in the year 2016 Parapancha which is a psychological comedy movie.,

Seetha was born on 13th July’1964 in Saurashtra. Her father’s name is Mohan Babu. He is yester year’s Tamil actor. Her mother’s name is Chandravathi. She has two brothers named Dudhyanth and Pandu. Seetha fell in love with Tamil actor Parthiban and married him in 1990. They gave birth to two daughters and a son named Keerthana, Abhinava and Raakhi. Seetha took divorce from Parthiban in 2001 and married TV and film actor Satish in 2010.

Dayal Padmanabhan is a Kannada movie director, who was born and brought up in Tamil Nadu. He was born on 14th June 1970 in Villupuram in Tamil Nadu. His parents are Padmanabhan and Radha. Padmanabhan was an employee of Tamilnadu Electricity Board. After his sudden death, Radha got the job and educated her son. Dayal is a scientist by profession. He came to Bangalore in 1988 and joined Indian Institute of Science as a scientist. Due to the passion for cinema, Dayal resigned his scientist job and got deep into the cinema industry. He considered Tamil actor “Murali” as his role model. Tamil director, “Naga” of “Marmadesam” fame, Upendra Rao, Madhan Mallu, Hamsalekha and S. Mahendar guided him well. He made his entry into the Kannada film industry as a writer. His first movie was with Sai Kumar, “Om Ganesh.” Thriller Manju directed the film. He is famous for his works such as “Hudugigage,” “Gattimela” and “H2O.” He made his debut as the director through “OK Saar OK.” “Baa Baaro Rasika,” “Sri Harikathe,” “Circus,” “Haggadha Kone” and “Masala” are some of his successful movies.

Born in a Kannada family, K. Manju is a well-known Kannada film producer in the South industry. Manju was born in Mayasandra village in Karnataka. His childhood was filled with a lot of obstacles, and he had to juggle a lot to reach this platform of producing movies. Manju’s father worked hard to sell coconuts, and his mother worked as a servant in a hospital named NIMHANS.

Faisal Ali is an Indian cinematographer. He primarily works in the Malayalam film industry. He debuted as a cinematographer with the film “Ordinary” released in 2012. The film is an Indian Malayalam-language comedy-drama directed by Sugeeth. The film’s plot revolves around how an accident interlinks the lives of a driver and a conductor of KSRTC bus. The cast includes Kunchacko Boban, Biju Menon, Shritha Sivadas, and many other talented actors. He has worked on the film “ID: The Fake”, an Indian Malayalam-language drama-thriller directed and written by Arun Sivavilasam. 

Arjun Janya is an Indian singer and music composer. In 2006, he made his debut in the industry with Kannada movie Autograph Please starring Dilip Raj and Sanjjanaa. In the south film industry, he is a score director and composer of high demand. The movies for which he composes music have done well on box-office in past. He is known for music in Sanchari and Singam. He was born on May 13, 1980, in Bengaluru, Karnataka to Anusuya and Ashwath Kumar. He learnt music from James and thinks of AR Rahman as his inspiration. It is said that a meeting between him and AR Rahman changed him and converted him into what he is today.

In his initial stages of his career, Krishnamurthy got himself associated with acclaimed theater personalities. Gubbi Veeranna, B R Panthulu and Mohammed Peer were some of the notable personalities with whom Krishnamurthy worked. His forte is mythological flicks and some such films that he directed include, Bhakta Kumbara, Satya Harishchandra and Babru Vahana. Rajkumar starred in all of these films. These films gained great appreciation and are a landmark in Kannada cinema. The career of Rajkumar also bloomed with these films. Born on February 9, 1914, Krishnamurthy did his initial schooling in Hunsur, and pursued his high school education in Mysore. Before venturing into films, Krishnamurthy tested waters as a playwright in theater. Swarga Samrajya is a play written by him. Eventually, he got himself involved in Bharat Nataka Company by working as a scenarist and playwright. Later he worked in Bombay Talkies. After this, he got himself associated with Bal Gandharva’s theater troupe. 

Krishnamurthy started his film career mainly as a dialogue writer. He wrote dialogues for films such as Krishnaleele and Hemareddy Mallamma. He also penned the screenplay for these flicks. Kanyadana, Sodari and Devakannika are some of the films for which he wrote lyrics. The 1958 flick Shri Krishna Gaarudi is the debut directorial endeavor of Krishnamurthy. This is a mythological film. The 1965 flick Satya Harishchandra received the Best Feature Film in Kannada Award from the National Award jury. This film is still remembered by Kannada audiences. The 1977 flick Veera Sindhoora Lakshmana was also a great success. 

Krishnamurthy was instrumental in the entry of actors M P Shankar and Rajesh into the film industry. Shyama Sundar Kulkarni wrote the biography of Krishnamurthy. Krishnamurthy has indeed made an outstanding contribution to Kannada film industry and is regarding with great revere even today.

V Nagendra Prasad is a lyricist, music director, director and an actor in the Kannada film industry. He was born on 3rd December 1975 to ‘MV Venkata Ramanappa’ and ‘Chandramma’ in Nagamangala, Karnataka. Prasad completed his schooling in Bangalore. Being passionate about literature, he chose Kannada literature in his under graduation course. To pursue his post graduation, he moved to Mysore. Nagendra is interested in writing poems from his young age. His career in cinema started as a lyric writer in 2000. His first film is “Gajina Mane”, directed by ‘KV Jayaram’. “Hamsalekha” composed the tunes for the lyrics of Nagendra. He developed his knowledge in cinema gradually. Prasad has penned the lyrics for more than thousand songs.

Vijay Prakash is an Indian playback singer and film composer. He was born in Mysore and moved to Mumbai in 1996. He worked in so many Hindi films including Blue, Yuvraaj, Swades, Kaal, Lakshya, Matrubhoomi, Tere Naam, Cheeni Kum, Raavan, and Force.

Born on 28th December 1979 to late Haji Ayub, Imran Sardhariya is a well-known choreographer and a film director of the Telugu and Kannada cinema. His wife Saniya is a costume designer. His shot to fame has been with the famous song ‘Stylo Stylo’. To add to his list of accomplishments, he has about 250 songs accredited to him and also the choreography of two Telugu movies – Josh and Chalaaki.

Indian film actor, a producer, a playback singer, Sharan is a multitalented Kannada film actor and belongs to Kannada cinemas. Sharan usually appeared in a comic role as a lead actor or comedy themed movies. Though he did various negative and villain roles and also started his career with that only. Sharan went into the field of acting because of his parents as he had an interest in music first. He also has his album and also songs under his name. Personal Life: Sharan was born in Bangalore, Karnataka into a family of theater artists. His grandparents and parents were renowned artists at the Gubbi theater. Sharan is the son of J.V. Krishna. His younger sister, Shruti, was one of the leading Kannada actresses in the 90's. Though he entered the film industry due to pressure from his parents, his initial interest was in music and was part of an orchestra as a singer. He cut his own private devotional albums and also sang the title tracks for television series. Sharan married Pallavi and have two kids from her, son, Rudhay and Daughter, Punya. Career: Sharan didn’t want to be an actor in the beginning as he was scared about whether he would be able to cope up or reach at that height as his sister and his parents. Initially, he even ran from one if the sets during the shoot. Because of lack of confidence and to make an earning of his own, Sharan joined a computer course of 11 months which would serve him a job.

Chikkanna was born in Ballahalli district of Mysuru city in Karnataka, India. He has been working in the show-business since 2011. He is best known for his works in the Kannada cinema. He has played many comic roles in various south Indian films. He debuted on television in a Mysore-based comedy show, titled Drishya Kalavide.

Sadhu Kokila is a Kannada actor who primarily works on comedy roles. He is also a director and music composer. Rakta Kanneeru, Om and Shhh are some of the movies that he directed and also acted. The Vijay starrer Devru was also directed by him.
Born on 24th March, 1966, Sadhu Kokila, also known as Kokila Sadhu, hails from a family of musically inclined people. His father was a violinist in a music group of Karnataka Police Department. His sister and mother are singers. Layendra, Kokila’s brother, is also an actor. Kokila pursued his schooling at St. Joseph’s Indian High School in Bangalore. Kannada star Upendra provided him with the name Sadhu Kokila. 
Kokila kickstarted his career in the film industry as a musician and eventually he was referred to Kasturi Shankar, another musician. He has the reputation of being one of the swiftest keyboard players in India. Kokila has helmed direction for 12 Kannada flicks, and 6 of them were remakes. His directorial venture Anarkali was dropped midway. 
Kokila expresses that audiences and the media question whether his films are a remake or original. He had made up his mind not to endeavor in remakes. He feels that composing music requires a lot of creativity. As far as his comedy stint is concerned, he is loved by the audience. And about acting he feels that it is exciting. Sadhu Kokila has received awards for music direction twice. 
As far as remakes are concerned Kokila is of the view that there are creative limitations. But originals are enjoyable both in the sense of creativity and visualization. Sadhu Kokila along with Doddanna make a good pair for situation comedies. Kokila is compared with Johnny Lever of Bollwyood,for his comedy skills. 
On his personal front, Kokila is wedded to Saleena. They are blessed with two sons.
