Plot

Shankar runs his father’s auto-rickshaw, even after he completed his MBA. He doesn’t want to do a high-profile job but wants to live independently and peacefully. He loves Sangeetha from the wealthy family background. After getting a nod from their families for their marriage, Sangeetha asks him to shift his career from driving an auto-rickshaw. This creates issues between them. What happens next? Did Sangeetha marry him or leave him? What is their parents’ wish? All these form the rest of the plot.

Star Performance

Dhananjaya did his role with ease. He is so natural and the body language for the role is fantastic. The emotional scenes and romantic scenes worked out well in favor of him. Amrutha has got an interesting role to do and she has done her part well. Tara and Rangayana Raghu fit well in the roles.

Analysis

Shankar directed the film based on his story. The story and screenplay are quite interesting. Dhananjaya and the team have worked to bring out a good output and had succeeded too. There are some emotional scenes that make the audience move with the script. The cinematography by Preetha is impressive. Similarly, the music composition is quite decent. The BGM and songs are good and make the story travel energetically. Yet, the climax is predictable

Verdict

Badava Rascal is a good movie with various emotions. It shows love, affection, bonding, and relationship. With his first film as a director, Shankar Guru managed to attract audiences. If the climax had been different, the film would have reached better.
