Plot
Papu often harmed Pratibha physically in their childhood. But, when they grew up, he developed a special bond for her. When he proposes to her, she tells him that she has been in love with him since childhood. As both of them belong to a different community, their love faces opposition. Will they overcome the societal pressures and lead a happy life? The rest of the film deals with this.

The performances are not natural, and they look exaggerated.
Analysis
Sometimes, when the story is old and not unique, the narration may be different, and the performances may impress. But nothing happened in this film that had over-the-top performances and an unimpressive screenplay. The visuals are the only soothing element in the film. If the writing had been better and the director pulled out the talent from the actors, the film would have impressed the audience.
