Plot
Simran is a novelist and she has a sister named Alia. Simran receives a call from Nexus Publication owner Yuvraj. He requests Simran to write a novel about him. She accepts it and visits his bungalow along with her sister. From the time, they entered the bungalow Simran feels that something abnormal happens around them. In a few days, Alia found out the effect of the paranormal activities and yes, Simran is possessed by a spirit. After seeing this, Alia calls her friend Disha to save her sister. Disha gets the help from Jane, a psychic. But, none could get rid of the spirit from Simran’s body. Finally, Disha calls Rajesh, her senior to get rid of the soul from Simran's body. Did their plan work out? Watch it in the cinemas.
Star Performance
Except for Rajesh Sharma, none impressed the audiences. Their expressions are lame and none had tried to react well to the horror scenes.
Analysis
The director has chosen a week script and he hadn’t designed the screenplay well. Besides this, the performances of the actors are not good. The production value and the technical value are unimpressive. If the director had made the screenplay well, it might have been better. Gagan should learn some more techniques in making a good horror film.

Verdict
The Past didn’t bring anything useful. The director should learn the filmmaking skills, before testing. We hope, he would come with a better movie, next time. The Past… Not worthy to look back. If you have no movies to watch, then, you could visit the theaters.
